--04 to 08 July: Frequent lightning over Spain and Portugal. --08 to 11 July: Farthest north lightning of July north of Norway and Russia moves east to west. --12 to 14 July: Very long fast-moving thunderstorms move from Poland to Russia. --19 to 21 July: Large thunderstorm complex over United Kingdom moves southwest to northeast. --20 to 27 July: Widespread east to west motion of thunderstorms over western Russia. --25 to 28 July: Cyclonic circulation over northern Italy and adjacent countries has widespread thunderstorms. ~Ron Holle
