--November is the last month of meteorological autumn in the Northern Hemisphere. --There is a tendency for lightning to move E to W in the tropical regions, but from the W or NW to the north of the tropics. --The Caribbean Sea is typically a lightning minimum due to strong easterly winds and subsidence from land areas on all sides. --06 to 08 November: A subtropical circulation is evident over the Windward and Leeward Islands, and adjacent Caribbean. --10 to 12, 17 to19, and 23 to 28 November: Major frontal boundaries move from W to E across the northern portions of the map. --26 to 27 November: The frontal boundary across Florida develops a connection of continuous lightning all the way S to Belize. ~Ron Holle
